Sport Psych Solutions is made up of Jessica Tang, who holds a Masters in Sports and Exercise Psychology. Through her passion and drive for Psychology and for all types of sports, she aims to educate individuals/groups using well researched mental techniques delivered in her very own unique and carefully crafted interventions.
Having participated in a variety of sports herself, including football, basketball, netball, athletics, badminton, volleyball amongst many others, and having previously been a tennis instructor, Jessica is fully aware of the different pressures and demands that sport can have. Today, Jessica is a climbing enthusiast and has a very keen interest in the outdoors whether it be scrambling, hiking, mountain biking, running, snowboarding or kayaking. This makes Jessica knowledgeable in both traditional sports as well as the more modern extreme sports. Professionally, Jessica gained her undergraduate degree in Applied Psychology at Heriot Watt University in 2009. She then went on to complete her Masters in Sport and Exercise Psychology at Bangor University, North Wales, in 2011. Currently, she is in training to be a Chartered Sport Psychologist with the British Psychological Society which should see her qualified soon. |
